EPC Receives “Hero of the Planet” Award

ST. LOUIS (October 23, 2008) – EPC, CSI’s technology remarketing and recycling subsidiary, has been honored with a “Hero of the Planet” Award for its continuing commitment to the environment through electronics recycling. EPC is one of the largest technology recyclers in the U.S., and maintains a strict Zero Landfill, Zero Export policy.

The majority of equipment that EPC receives, from both CSI customers and other companies across the U.S., is remarketed. But with tens of thousands of units coming in monthly, EPC still recycled more than 5 million pounds of electronic surplus over the last 12 months.

CSI encourages all companies, whether they lease or own, to make sure their equipment is disposed of or remarketed in the most responsible methods possible.
